Renowned cricket commentator Aakash Chopra has announced his list of the best Test batsmen of the 21st century. This includes a total of 6 batsmen, including two Indians. Chopra released the list of batsmen in a video shared on his YouTube channel. Notably, Virat Kohli, Steve Smith and Ken Williamson have not been included in the list.
At the top of the list, Aakash has named former India batsman Rahul Dravid. Dravid has scored 9,966 runs in 124 Tests at an average of 52 with 28 centuries. Speaking about Dravid, Akash said, ‘Dravid is a great batsman. His 270 runs in Rawalpindi, Adelaide’s double century, his partnership with Laxman at Eden Gardens are all examples. Rahul is also the only Indian to score a century in four consecutive Tests.
After Dravid, Akash named South African all-rounder Jack Kallis. Kallis scored 10,660 runs in 123 Tests at an average of 59 with 38 centuries. Despite being difficult to bat in South Africa, Kallis has scored an average of 62 at home. From that, one can guess his batting, said Chopra.

Great batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s name is ranked 5th by Akash. Chopra said, “Sachin has been batting for India for many years. Recorded many abroad. But with the change of 21st century cricket, I have put Tendulkar in such a place. “
