The central government had from June 16 introduced the rule that only hallmarked gold jewelery would be sold across the country. All goldsmiths in large districts of the state will have to wait for at least another month and a half for the availability of hallmark jewelery.

The picture is that the central government has implemented this decision in a hurry, similar to the exchange of notes and GST. Because, even after 12 days of reversal of the rules, there are still many changes left in the registration system. Therefore, the implementation of Gold Hallmarking has been postponed till August.
