COVID-19: Evening curfew imposed in 10 UP districts together with Lucknow and Varanasi; board exams delayed

Lucknow: All colleges in Uttar Pradesh will stay shut until 15 Might whereas, board exams for lessons 10 and 12 have been postponed until 20 Might in view of rising COVID-19 circumstances, the federal government stated on Thursday.
The brand new dates for the board examinations can be determined within the first week of Might, an official stated.
“Colleges as much as class 12 are being closed until 15 Might and no examinations will even be held throughout this era. Additionally, the state board exams for lessons 10 and 12 have been postponed until 20 Might,” the official stated.
The choice was taken at a gathering chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The Uttar Pradesh Schooling Board examinations have been earlier scheduled to begin from 8 Might.
An evening curfew from 8 pm until 7 am has been imposed in 10 districts reporting greater than 2,000 lively COVID-19 circumstances, the official stated.
The districts are in Lucknow, Allahabad, Varanasi, Kanpur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Gorakhpur, the official stated.
