Indian athletes will also be leaving for the Tokyo Olympics soon. All India is congratulating the players. In it, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a campaign called # cheer4india to boost the confidence of the players. As part of the campaign, Indian cricketers have also congratulated the athletes on their way to the Olympics.

The Olympics were to be held last year. But they are being postponed this year due to the Corona crisis. The tournament will start on July 23 and more than 100 Indian athletes have qualified for the Olympics. Indian hockey captain Manprit Singh and London Olympics bronze medalist boxer MC Mary Kom will be the flag bearers at the opening of the Olympics. Wrestler Bajrang Puniya will be the flag bearer of India at the closing ceremony on August 8.

BCCI pays Rs 10 crore

The BCCI had a few days back provided Rs 10 crore for the preparation and training of Olympic athletes. The money will be used properly after discussions between the Indian Ministry of Sports and the Indian Olympic Association.
