A car-sized rover that landed on Mars on 6 August 2012, higher referred to as the Curiosity rover, has captured gorgeous footage of clouds passing over the Martian floor. Shot by cameras connected to the highest of Curiosity, the five-minute-clip exhibits clouds above the floor of Mars. The footage was captured on 19 March 2021 and has been shared by North Carolina State College’s scientist Dr Paul Byrne.
In accordance with a report in the Unbiased, 5 minutes of time has been captured by the navigation digicam on Curiosity in eight separate visuals which were stitched collectively. The “noctilucent” clouds on Mars within the video will be lit up by the solar even in the course of the evening due to how excessive up they’re above the floor.

The clouds seen in the video seem like shifting equally to these on Earth. However the report mentions that because of the huge distinction in atmospheres of the 2 planets, the clouds should have shaped in numerous methods. The ambiance of Mars is thinner than Earth’s.
