Dollar vs Rupees Mumbai: The rupee continues to depreciate. The rupee has hit a two-month low against the dollar. The price of crude oil has been steadily rising. On the other hand, the stock market is falling. Meanwhile, the rupee depreciated against the dollar for the third day in a row. The rupee depreciated by 23 paise to 74.55 against the dollar.

The rupee had opened lower at 74.37. It was trading at Rs 74.32 per dollar in the previous session. The rupee continued to fluctuate between Rs 74.34 and Rs 74.63 per dollar during the day. The rupee had lost 23 paise to close at 74.55 against the dollar in the previous session. This is the lowest price since April 27. The rupee has depreciated by about 36 paise in the last three days.

Consistent rise in the value of the dollar

The dollar rose for the seventh day in a row. The dollar is currently trading at 92.453, up +0.022. The index shows the dollar is stronger than the world’s six major currencies. On Thursday (July 1), crude oil prices rose for the fourth day in a row. At present, the price of crude oil has reached 75 75.73 per barrel with an increase of 1. 1.11 in the international market.

Rise in gold-silver prices

While the rupee has depreciated and the dollar has appreciated, gold and silver prices have risen sharply. In the Delhi bullion market, gold rose by Rs 526 (Gold price today) and silver by Rs 1,231. Gold rose to Rs 46,310 per tonne and silver to Rs 68,654 per kg.
