Boston: Love letters that John F Kennedy wrote to a Swedish paramour just a few years after he married Jacqueline Bouvier are going up for public sale.

“You’re fantastic and I miss you,” Kennedy scribbled on the finish of a February 1956 letter to aristocrat Gunilla von Publish, whom he’d met on the French Riviera just a few weeks earlier than he wed Bouvier in 1953.

Kennedy was a Democratic US senator from Massachusetts on the time, and the handwritten letters had been written on Senate letterhead. He signed one merely: “Jack.”
