R Vinay Kumar pronounces retirement from first-class and worldwide cricket
New Delhi: Veteran Karnataka medium pacer R Vinay Kumar, who additionally represented India and led his state workforce to successive Ranji Trophy titles, on Friday introduced his retirement from worldwide and first-class cricket.
In an announcement, the 37-year-old seasoned campaigner stated he has been fortunate to play alongside the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli in his profession.
“At present ‘Davangere Categorical’ after operating for 25 years and passing so many stations of cricketing life, has lastly arrived at a station known as ‘Retirement’. With lots of combined feelings, I, Vinay Kumar R, hereby announce my retirement from worldwide and top quality cricket,” he stated within the assertion.
