London: A shopkeeper in England got so fed up with the repeated theft incidents that barbed wire was laid in the entire shop. Due to this unique security arrangement, the shopkeeper is being discussed everywhere. Parvez Akhtar has a shop in Middlesbrough, which criminals have targeted six times in the last three years. Parvez also complained to the police, but to no avail. After this, he himself found a unique way of protecting his shop.
Criminals will not go back without getting injured
According to the news of ‘The Sun’, 50-year-old Parvez Akhtar has kept sharp razors, barbed wire everywhere in the shop. Because of which it will not be as easy for the thieves to carry out the crime as before. He can also get injured by getting entangled in the barbed wire. Parvez hopes that his method will work and criminals will now stay away from his shop.

Thieves took away 25 iPhones
Parvez Akhtar has a mobile phone shop, till now thieves have duped him of thousands of pounds. “In the last three years, there have been six theft incidents. For the first time, criminals had entered the shop by cutting the roof and stole 25 iPhones. Akhtar said that in the first incident he had suffered a loss of about 15,000 pounds, which has not been recovered till date.
Theft happened thrice via Roof
Thieves entered the shop by cutting the roof thrice and the main shutter thrice. Akhtar had earlier installed razor wire around the cash counter, due to which the thieves were not able to clean their hands on the cash, but they did a lot of damage to the shop. In view of this, now Parvez Akhtar has laid barbed wire in the entire shop itself. Along with this, other arrangements like CCTV cameras and alarms have also been made.
Don’t trust the police anymore
Akhtar lays barbed wire every day while closing the shop and removes them in the morning. It takes them half an hour to do this work. It is definitely a tiring job, he says, but it is necessary for the safety of the shop. Akhtar himself has also been injured many times. He has also met the Chief of Police several times regarding the increasing incidents of theft, but the high spirits of the thieves have not diminished.
